Bios update program needed ..universal

does any one know of a universal bios update program?
ive ran into a few problems and i cant even get a external usb floppy to work ,im after the award phonix one ,ive downloaded the upto date one from abit inc the new bios driver but it just flash,s then goes off ,i did update it a while ago and it was runing fine overclocked but then when i tried to slow it down after a few months it wouldnt have it, so i had the clear the cmos ,then it doesnt rekonise my sata drives so fouth , but if i could get the abit award bios program to work within o/s would be great but there but be somethink stopping it from runing, so i was wondering if anyone knows of a universal update program then i can sort this mess out, my motherboard is the abit fat1tly an9 32x am2 6000+ d/c why it doesnt what to run i dont know bios could be mesed up ive tried it a few times and even after a format job still wouldnt work,
but i have no floppy drive ,and wont read from an external floppy even when boot from usb or external is turned on ive tried many options all fail,so im in urgent need of a bios update tool, open source or somethink any info would be great
