Hi, I'm wondering if i can upgrade my graphics card in my laptop, it's bogging down the rest of my system and I would like the OPTION to play slightly higher end games. I can't find any information on IF I can upgrade or not.
(Laptops are always difficult in this field..)
I'm not sure.. but i believe the slot is PCI-E 16x (which is a pretty standard slot)

Any suggestions or advice would be amazing!

laptop video cards aren't upgradable, end of story unfortunately. and while it is pci-e x16, it's not the same physical slot as on a desktop computer. and a standard video card probably uses more power than the whole laptop. sorry, but if you want to play games, you'll have to get a new computer.

Laptop GPU's arent upgradable, Looks like your gonna be stuck with the 4500 unless you buy a new laptop.

Actually with effort you can swap your laptop GPU if you have the right MXM module, cooling and PSU. But As far as I know the 4500MHD is and IGP so you cant upgrade

There is one option: getting an external video card, such as the XG station. Downside is that you will need an additional monitor.
