i am going to purchase this motherboard

GIGABYTE GA-MA78GPM-UD2H

it has 128 mb ddr3 1066 sideport memory

and i was wondering if i can combine or use up to 512 mb ddr2 8oomhz system memory, while also using the sideport memory for gpu memory

i really need to know

If you're planning any serious gaming, Tom's Hardware has lowdown on Side-Port Memory:

The side-port memory option does make a difference, but we can only recommend it if it comes at very little extra cost (just a few dollars). Most of the performance comes from AMD’s RV610-based 700 MHz DirectX 10 graphics unit.


In other words, it's something you cannot totally rely on; you'll have to get a dedicated graphics card for any decent gameplay.
