Hi everybody!
Only one thing. What d u think about the new microsoft´s blue mouse? is it good for gaming? I was thinking about buying the intellimouse explorer 3.0 but it´s too large and i don´t really like it, so when i saw the new "blue" i thought it was a good mouse, a bit smaller and the same technology.
other option is the intellimouse optical,it looks pretty good.
What do you recommend me??
thanx

pd: sorry if some of my english is wrong, but i am Spanish :)

i think the blue one is just for looks. supposedly the explorer 3 is faster than the regular one, but i doubt you will see a difference. i use an explorer at home and work, i will never go back to ball mice.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

I think it has the same technology as the explorer 3 just smaller and blue...it should be fine if you don't need all those buttons. I use the MS intellimouse optical for gaming because it's smaller than my explorer 3.

Maximum PC gave the Blue Mouse (corded one) an 8 out of 10 for gaming.

HP USB optical mouse = 15$, bright blue led = 1.25$, some know how with the solder gun = priceless. for everybody else there is MS blue mouse. :)

that's what I did to my cheap HP mouse (HP because the store had a whole bunch and for 15$ you can't go wrong, my Logitech pooped on me and needed one quick and cheap)

all prices are in Canadian funds :D

I have a explorer 3.0 and i dont think its too big. I can use it for long periods with no discomfort.

The blue mouse is really just a gimmic, unless you like the slightly smalle mouse size.

I also think IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 is very comfortable.

No, it's 9-pin serial, not 25-pin serial.
