Does anyone know if the UHF/VHF off air antennas manufactured by Turk
have the ability to receive AM/FM radio waves as well? I have a
triple LNB dish and have 4 incoming cables 2 to the direcTivo in the
living room and 1 in each of 2 bedrooms. I wanted to add AM/FM
capability so that I can receive good quality signals and send them to
my new home theater system that I am planning on purchasing soon. If
not, what would I need to purchase to accomplish this? I live in an
area with a few hills so good reception is key.

Their is an antenna that will "slip" over the top of your eliptical dish.
With that in mind, you can add a signal combiner between the antenna and
your satellite cable to pipe into the house without having to run a new
wire. Once in the house, you can use another signal combiner to split the
two signals apart. If you are looking to over the air reception for tv, the
Directv Tivo units have a built in combiner switch. So, add a combiner at
the dish for the satellite signal and the OTA antenna, plug that one cable
into the Tivo unit, doesn't really matter which input, just make sure you
program your receiver correctly in the setup, antenna.
