Anyone had anything like this?!..
Operating System
Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit
CPU
Intel i7 920 @ stock
Mother Board
Asus P6T Deluxe
Graphics
Saphire HD4870 1gb @ stock
Monitor
Iiyama Vision Master Pro 17
Desktop Resolution
1024x768 @ 100hz
RAM
Corsair 6gb dominator @ 1600mhz
Hard Drive
WD 250gb
What happened:
System running fine for about 10 days, playing a game last night (left4dead), screen freezes, pc crashed, gpu fan @ 100%, had to hold power switch... which turned it off. As far as i am aware everything has been running stupid cool for the past week at stock speeds (nothing overclocked, except gpu fan to 45% as recommended)
The problem:
Turn PC on again, gpu fan @ 100% and 1 long, 3 short mobo beeps suggesting bad ram, all fans seem to be working, all lights are on and everything aside from it not actually working, seems to be fine (cant see any damage)
Fixes Attempted:

Fixes Attempted:
A. Taken all RAM out, GPU is in, Turn PC on....
effect:
gpu fan @ 100% and 1 long, 2 short mobo beeps that keep repeating suggesting bad gpu
B. Taken GPU and all RAM out, Turn PC on...
effect:
1 long, 3 short mobo beeps that keep repeating suggesting bad RAMC. Taken GPU out, RAM is in, Turn PC on...
effect:
gpu fan @ 100% and 1 long 3 short mobo beeps suggesting bad RAM
D. CMOS Reset
effect:
Nothing, still doesn't work
I have a returns number for tommorow, and i'll be able to test a second pci card tonight, but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas that didnt involve angry activities on wtf is going wrong? Could it be the motherboard considering the beep codes above? I got the beep codes from:
