Hey guys. We have just upgraded from Verizon DSL to FiOS this past week. Prior to the upgrade, we had networked our computers in order to access each other's files, to be able to use different printers, etc. With the new router (ActionTec), all settings have reset, and I have since had a heck of a time getting the two computers connected again. We have RJ45 jacks on each computer with lines running to a central area where they hook into the FiOS ports. I think it has something to do with the router's firewalls but I can't seem to get anywhere. Any suggestions?

Check what the default gateway is and then put that address into a web browser. This should bring up the configuration page of your router. From there you will need to log in and check the settings.
It is also possible that the new router sets each computer to a different IP address. If you were accessing by IP and not name you will have problems due to this.

Does each computer have internet access?
Check the IP addressing on each computer to make sure they are all in the same range. If so then try pinging each computer to the others.
Try resharing the folders you had.
