Dual or tri sli?

Just want some opinions on dual vs tri sli from people that ran it. I currently am running 2 gtx 285's in sli and have been thinking of getting a third. I have run sli all the way back to the 7800gt's,8800 gts g92, and gtx 260 but never tri.from the few reviews I have found it does not benefit that much o go the third at 400.00 for the card.

Never ran it myself, and that is exactly why.....there are tons of benchmarks and tests out there supporting exactly what you said. Performance gain very small for the cost.

the 3rd card is mostly there for AA performance and high resolution etc.

Some games benefit from 3 really well, while others don't.

3 card solutions is always better than 4, 2 card solution is better than 3, and single card solution is better than 2.

Now thats in term of consistent and non driver dependent frames

I personally don't go more than 3, and the 3rd is mainly a E penis.

I say stay where you are.

what I would've give for a single 285, and you say you have two in SLi, going for a third.
