Is there big d/f in 667 n 800 /mhz RAM experience

Q#1 is there big d/f in 667 n 800 mhz RAM experience. my 800mhz 1gb single stick kingstaon ram is running at 333mhz although the board supports atleast 667mhz. is it ram mismatch?? Q#2 my mobo is ASUS P5SD2-VM IS IT A GOOD BOARD OR I SHOULD CHANGE IT WITH P5KPL-VM ???? I WANT SPEED WHICH I AM NOT GETTING PLZZZZZ HELP YOUR POOR BRPTHER other specs of concern are 2.66P4 cpu Gfx7200GS Q#3 will changing board do any better or my ram mhz is not a problem. i know my Gfx card is loW. give me any suggestion

Use cpu-z, a free download. On some boards 333 setting is equal to 667. Try setting your speed to 400 in the bios and 5-5-5-15 for the timings.

DDR=Double Data Rate. As such, 800MHzDDR2 would technically run at half that (400MHz) which is probably how its listed on the BIOS. So if 667DDR2 is listed at 333.3, then your fine.

INTEL DG31-PR
ASUS P5GC-MX INTEL CHIPSET
ASUS P5SD2-VM SIS CHIPSET

i concluded that "SIS IS AN EQUALLY GOOD CHIPSET WITH FONE PRICE AND GR8 PERFORMANCE"
