Hi there,

I had the following setup;

Gigabyte MA790 FX DQ6 Motherboard
AMD X2 5200 CPU
Gigabyte ATI 3870 graphics card
3 Gigs DDR2 800 Kingston Hyper X
650 coolermaster PSU
2 x Seagate 320Gig Hard drives
Altech Lanboy chassis

I dual boot Vista 64 Home Premium and Xp 32bit Pro.

I just bought some components to upgrade and my new config is:

Gigabyte MA790 FX DQ6 Motherboard
AMD Phenom 9950 Black Edition
Gigabyte ATI 3870 graphics card
8 Gigs DDR2 1066 OCZ Reaper
650 coolermaster PSU
2 x Seagate 320Gig Hard drives

I only run two fans which are standard on my Lanboy Chassis. Ive had the new config running for about a month now, however every now and then then system just shuts down.

Im almost positive that its the PSU which is shutting it down because of over heating due to the lack of power to run the new components. Can anyone throw their opinion about it or suggestions?

Also another thing is that when the pc boots, it shows that my SATA is running in IDE mode, last time i messed with those settings it was a disaster! Please advise how to resolve that.

Thanks
