If my NB is getting hot what options do i have for aftermarket cooling? I have the Gigabyte MA790GP-UD4H mobo with the silent pipe cooling. I havent looked closely yet but the silent pipe cooling looks pretty attached and i dont see any way, at least through the window, where i can detach, or add anything to help cool it down. Anyone have any thoughts?

Who installed the Silent Pipe system for you? Maybe he or she can help you with the NB heat problem?

In any case, there are coolers designed from the ground up to cool northbridges. They're mostly heatsinks, so I think if that can fit into system, you can conduct the heat off to the silent pipe?
