To be honest a 3850x2 gives you 640SP (320x2) but with Crossfire issues while the 4850 gives 800SP making the 3850x2 a bad buy.

p.s. 650 w psu

Yes, your system is fully capable of running a Cf setup.
You do not have to worry about running in 8x/8x, there will be no/extremely small performance hit vs full 16x/16x.

At this point it would probably be helpful to know your budget and resolution.
Cf 4830s would defiantly be faster than either of the cards you list.
It will also cost more and may be overkill if you are gaming at a low resolution.

19" monitor 1280 x 1024 ; system specs: q9550 , 2GB ddr3 1333 mhz; p5q3 MB; 650 w psu;
budget for video card now 180 $ or i can wait 1 month and add extra 100$ for a 280$ total
Note: hardware is more expensive in my country then us

Thx for the quick reply's

At that resolution, Cf 4830s would be fully CPU bound and a waste of $$.
Any single 48x0 will be more than enough for your.
Even a 4670 will treat you nicely at that low of a resolution.

I would recommend purchasing a 48x0, another 2-4Gb of RAM and starting saving up for a new monitor.
With a single 48x0 now, you will have the option to Cf later if you decide it is necessary on a new monitor.
