Are pci slots and everything around them still the same now as they where, say 5-7 ago? They seem to look the same. I want to keep my Digidesign Digi001 audiointerface, now 7 years old ! It was first on a Mac G4 and now its on a Pc with Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI Royal mobo and is still running perfect as long as i use Win Xp. I want to change to ASUS P5Q-E P45 775 ATX mobo

I just read some article on your digi001 , if you are planning to build a new computer i wouldn't use it its pretty old.It probably will work on newer mobo's but i am not sure.

Thank's for the quick reply!
So I guess the slots are the same it's "the things" around them that perhaps is not drivers software etc. Of course. If it doesn't work I'll just have to get a new one.

I just looked at the company's website, and they still provide legacy support, so you should be able to find drivers to make it work as long as you are using more modern software for it.
