Best gaming build for $1200

Hello everyone,

Well, I am a noob as you can tell by my name. However, I have not built a new rig in over a year and I am not up to date on the newest hardware out there. I was wondering if any kind soul out there on the net, could give me advice on the best rig i could built for $1200. Excluding monitor ( Acer H233Hbmid Black 23" 5ms HDMI Full HD 1080P), and operating system.

Thanks for the help!

  1. What are your current specs? If your rig is less than 2 years old, it may just need a minor upgrade.

personally, i'd get a better case though.

Comes to 1196.84 with shipping to me. You could go with a different PSU, but it comes bundled with the case and Antec Signature is about as good as it gets for quality. Also look at Corsair 650tx or PC P&C 750w red PSU. If you got rid of the PSU case combo and just went with the case and got this PSU, you would save $30 to put towards the Xigmatek.

For a little more you can get the Xigmatek S1283 and then OC your CPU for best performance.

That's a great intel build, I would also swap out the case for the 900. I think my build's got a little more potency for less though once you change the case.
