Are pci slots and everything around them still the same now as they where, say 5-7 ago?
I want to switch to a ASUS P5Q-E P45 775 ATX mobo (cpu I don't know yet)

They seem to look the same. I want to keep my Digidesign Digi001 audiointerface wich is now 7 years old. (Still sounds wonderful so I don't feel any need to change it. And it was quite expensive at the time)
It was first on a Mac G4 and now its on a Pc with Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI Royal mobo and is still running perfect as long as i use Win Xp.
