Which would give the best performance?

Hi, i am looking at a new computers and its either a choice between

896MB NVIDIA® GeForce GTX260 graphics

or

1024MB NVIDIA® GeForce GT120 graphics


Obviously the GT120 has more memory but is quite dated i think?

Even if they were the same speed, 128 megs of ram aren't going to gain you anything to speak of. Not even the same category, get the 260.

How / in what way is it better? Not so clued up on graphic card details

GT120 is a low end card comparable to 9500gt and GTX260 is high end. It has been a trend of many manufacturers to install more ram on slow cards than they can handle to make them attractive to buyers

of course get the gtx260 896mb. it's way more powerful than GT120. memory is not the factor here.
