RAID or what...idk

I am running a hackintosh with mac os x 10.6.3 and i want to know if i can have a 500Gb hdd store my OS and apps and a seperate 320Gb hdd store my media files?

What would i have to do to do so?

Install OS X on 500GB drive.

Install 320GB Drive. Format said drive. Store media on drive. No RAID required.

oh okay but how would i know how to direct media to it or from it?

Saving on to said drive...

File -> Save As -> Choose drive.

Opening files on said drives...

File -> Open -> Choose drive.


It's pretty straight forward. Just install and format the drive, and the rest will be fairly self explanatory...
