Motherboard:
Foxconn A7DA-S AM2+ 790GX RT

Issue:
I installed the board and booted to SATA disc containing a install of XP Pro 64-bit. No problems, re-validated windows, installed new drivers for the new board. Everything works.

Then I installed three additional HD's, turned on RAID in mobo settings.
Created a RAID 5 group for the additional HD's. The original OS drive was now recognized as a JBOD raid array... ok, not sure if that is what is causing my problem.

Now when I reboot it begins to lanuch windows, I even get the XP 64 bit slpash but then it crashes and reboots.

Any ideas? Am I going to have to re-install windows with the RAID enabled first?

I am just trying to add RAID storage, I don't want to boot to the RAID, and I really would prefer not to do a fresh install of XP on the JBOD array (but I will if necc.)

Thanks!

You need to re-install the OS with the raid 5 settings. You can't just go and change the raid configuration and add more drives AFTER you have installed the OS.
