Actually I just got today the HIS HD 4870 1GB, the one with the blue PCB and a big GPU heatsink. It really works great. I OCed it at 675 and temps are 40C Idle and and 68C Full load. Fan is really quiet.
I love it :)

I am waiting for prices to drop and I'll get one more of the same HD4870 so I can crossfire it.

Cheers

I'd say any brand that has an upgraded cooler. They do get pretty hot and you want a cool cooler. I have an Asus w/ Dark Night cooler. I love it, however at idle the fan sits at 50%, which is a little loud for me. However my PC is pretty quiet by itself, I just made a fan profile in Rivatuner and took care of that. However the Sapphire has a nice big cooler and HIS has the ICEQ cooler.

I will be going with a 1gb, and will be selling my BFG 8800GTS 512 OC... I also will most likely put on a better cooler.

What does it mean when they write "OC" on the card... Is it overclockable, pre-overclocked, or pre-overclocked and can go higher??

OC means that the card is already over clocked, GPU is running on higher settings than stock card.
