Hello,
my HP5780 all in one says that I need to replace my tri-color cartridge. This was done and I have throughly cleaned the cartridge and the cartridge interface with no luck.
 
Have you tried turning the printer on/off?

Does the printer have the special function for changing the cartridges? Did you use this function when you were doing the replacement?

What does HP monitor program tell you about the status of the printer?

I mean worst case, call up HP and ask them.
