Black frame when using computer on lcd

hi guys,
first, sorry for my english

ok i opened atopic before, hope its ok im opening another one.

on my computer, i have dvi to hdmi adapter, and from him im using hdmi to hdmi from my computer to the lcd.
but, when im watching my screen on the lcd im seeing the screen like this:

as you see, this black frame.

im allmost sure that the problem is not on the resolution, because i tryed, believe me i tryed alot to play with this, and its not the problem.
also, when im plugging another computer to my lcd, it doesnt matter what resolution is on the computer, its still working on full screen without black frame. its just looks bad with not good resolution.

also, i was thinking, is resize hdtv desktop function exsist on ati cards?

mayb with this i can fix the problem. - on the computer with the nvidia card. if i change this resize thing i have black frame too, and when i get it back its ok again.

Imo it's your tv settings if lets say your out put is 720i which can be 1280x768 but the tv defaults to 1360x768 or 1366x768 your tv is set for 720p in that hdmi mode and it won't detect the proper size to resize just mess with your tv settings. If not i'd just use my tv's DVI or VGA connection although you can't run audio though it.

I only had box problems using Component video had no porblem switching to VGA set my computer and tv to 1360x768 picture is clear and full
