Well... important for me... :)

You're all talking about objects and what's happening to them after
university installation but... what about the skin color??? and, more
important, what about the custom hairs???
If a teen had custom hairs what happens to his hairs when he became a young
adult??? And what happens to his custom skin color???
My custom genetics (hairs, skins, eyes) will be usable after university
installation???

Thanks
ManuFla :)

I imagine no difference here. The game supports these things from
within, as opposed to objects.

Almost undoubtadly.

The sims are teen heads and adult bodies (I think - I haven't got it yet),
so your custom hairs will use the teen hairstyle for the young adult and the
skins the body of the adult. The object recolours are a different issue to
the skins - the skins were always intended to be changed using Bodyshop
(from Maxis) but the modders had to hack the object files in order to allow
recolours which is why this isn't fully supported by Maxis. I did hear a
rumour a while back about a tool in development at Maxis to allow
recolouring of the objects - said to be due for release in the summer. But
I'm not holding my breath - I seem to remember we had a similar promise with
Sims1.

Best wishes

The custom hair still works,.....but skin files do not. If you have
added default nude skins, they will work,....but the other clothing
does not work with the young adults.

I haven't been able to find much information on the young-adult skins
yet,....been spending too much time getting my downlods to work, but
if anyone has information about the new young-adult skins, it would be
most helpful.
