hey i have 4gb of corsair twin2X 8500 c5c ram. And i am wondering should i try to set my timings as low as possible and see if the system runs stable. OR should i just go with the timings that cpu z listed?

currently i have it a 533 and 5, 6, 6, 16, 22 at 2.1v thats what cpu z listed. now i played around a bit and got down to 5, 6, 6, 15, 20, at 2.1v so which one is better? i ran memtest and prime95 to check if my settings were stable and it was all good.

If this is the one that u posted: http://www.compusa.com/application [...] VqHCjCdwwp

Then its 5-6-6-18 so if u set it @ 5-6-6-16 and its stable then its ok :)

If its stable @ lower timings then set it to those

hey so i got 1066mhz corsair and so far my timings are 5 6 6 15 18 command rate 2t voltage 2.1 is that good?

cas is 5
ras to cas 6
ras precharge 6
tras 15
trc 18

now ima see if i can go any lower with out changing voltage because i want to keep it at 2.1 but are those timings pretty good?

how am i suppose to set up row cycle time the lowest it goes ?

Those timings are good,go to Corsair's site and find your RAMs stock timings/voltages there and set it,but check whether it stays table or not

these are the ones but i cant find the same ones on their website.

for the timings it says 5 6 6 18 at 2.1v but what is the row cycle it says nothing about that so do i just leave it how it is and does it effect anything?

closes thing i found is this one

http://www.corsair.com/_datasheets [...] 8500C5.pdf

but the timings are diff at 2.1v.

for now i just set my timings up according to cpu z

which are 5 6 6 16 and 22 trc. i read that tras = cas + ras to cas + ras precharge +/- 1 so 5+6+6 = 17 so i got my on 16 and for the row cycle you do tras + ras precharge so 6+16=22 :) i think these are good timings and ill keep em like this for now what do you think?
