I was wanting to buy this poer supply from newegg:

BFG Tech LS SERIES LS-550 550W Continuous @ 40°C ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.8 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

But then i found this one on buy.com:

http://www.buy.com/prod/bfg-tech-550w-atx12v-power-supp...

Im not quite sure. I think there both the same, but I dont know for sure. What do you guys think? Are these two poer supplies the same ones/models??

Thanks!

This is interesting. I know that this PSU has been mentioned a few times recently in the New System Build forum. The specs listed on Newegg are for the old four 12V rail version. Newegg states that this PSU won Anandtech editors choice award but, Anandtech's review was for the "new" single 12V rail version. There is no indication from the Newegg user reviews as to which version they are receiving or if they know there is a difference. So, who knows what version Newegg is currently shipping.

Yea maybe a simple call will suffice this.

Even looks like newegg and buy.com both advertise and show pics of the old power system.

Heres my next question: How differant is the new psw from the old psw? Would the old be worth getting?
