AM2+ Which is Best Motherboard ?! help plz

Hi

I have decided to build a system with AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition.

For this processor, Plz suggest mid-range & best motherboard & memory.

Plz specify price, if possible. Its urgent. I am confused to select good motherboard to use with this processor.

As I will install 64bit Windows 7 on my this system, how much RAM should I install of what brand n model.

Plz help me.

Eight GBs PC2 8500 @1066MHz. works great with my PII 940 and Vista 64.

I would suggest getting an AM3 board so you can future-proof yourself to some degree. AMD is fantastic in that all their sockets are backwards compatible, something Intel should learn.

For memory my personal favorite has become OCZ, it has been fantastic to me in every way: it overclocks well, is stable, fast run times. AND it is fairly priced (unlike corsair).

OP mentioned specifically a PII 940. The MB you suggested does not support the AMD PII 940. Nah.
