i recently bought a new gigabyte motherboard and athlon 64 x2 processor and put everything together and the pc wouldn't go past the first screen with the options to go to post bios, bios setup, boot selection, etc. now it goes to a new screen but the screen is blank. any help is appreciated.

it would be nice to know what mother board and what processor and also the memory and the rest of your system. did you try resetting the cmos ?

wow. actually just figure it out. this is by far the most embarassing thing i have ever done in my life. i was trying to find the best way to run all of my wires and unhooked everything and forgot to hook my optical drives back up. everything works fine now. doi!
