Hey guys!
I want to start upgrading my pc again. I will start off with a new monito but after that ill get down to hardware.
Specs:
Abit Fatal1ty Fp-in9 650i sli motherboard
Intel Pentium Dual Core e5200 oced
Corsair Xms2 2gb 800mhz
Kingston 1 gb 667mhz
Evga 9600gso 705/1720/880
Dynex 400 watt psu
Seagate 120gb sata drive

so i have a budget gaming system, im happy i get 30fps average all high 1280x1024 crysis...
I want to start upgrading and wan to get a new mobo, but there are problems.... My 400 watt power supply cant take much more, its gaming days since 05 are coming to an end. What will be min watts for a med/high system in 2010?? I want to buy new parts in early 2010, so does any1 know what motherboards will be out then??? is ddr2 still in gaming buisness? After motherboard what next a new graphics card or cpu??

Thanks!

It's amazing your system even runs with a Dynex power supply. I've got that model, and I use it for testing purposes only. I would recommend you save for a corsair, pc power and cooling, or seasonic 700-750w. Don't order until you see a good rebate deal (newegg, fyrs, or zipzoomfly, for examples), and send it in promptly following the directions. I see so many posts complaining about rebates. I've sent in dozens of them, and received them all simply by following directions and typing all the info neatly so they can read it.

well idk but the dynex is really good.... would 650watts run a new motherboard (730i,750i, or others) with a gtx 260 and a quad core?

so should i buy a new motherboard??? it supports the e8xxx series.... so idk, it supports sli... how much longer can it be used for gaming??? gtx 260 sli and a e8400 is good and this motherboard would run it flawlessly! It also supports the q6600.... but its old rite?? what u guys think of the 750i, 780i, and 790i, they are very very cheap everywere!

will those power supplies be enough for anything i said above?
