Are there any Mods to trick an E8600 to have 11x or 12x multiplier?

In the past (like with AMDs) there were tricks like jumpering
certain CPU pins to raise the multiplier.

Has anyone heard of anything along these lines for the E8600?

My BIOS does not allow changing of the FSB speed so I am SOL for
overclocking. And clockgen doesn't seem to work on my machine
either.

If there was a way to fool the CPU into an 11x or 12x multiplier I
would be stoked to hear about it..

Thanks...

This would be a last resort option...

I have a slim PC so the MB would have to be Micro ATX.
Who makes the best OC'ing Micro ATX for $100 or less?

I think I read somewhere that ASUS auto-adjusts for the
highest possible over-clocks based on monitoring for errors
and temperature? ASUS shows 11 choices on newegg.. How
to choose?

Buy another motherboard with a p45 chipset so you will be able to overclock the fsb . about the multiplier , you are not able to unlock it.
