Unable to open, Reply, send emails or Forward emails to my Hotmail contacts

Since the big MS updates a few Tuesdays ago, I have not been able to use my Hotmail Plus account in Firefox 3.6. It's OK in IE8, but I have all my contacts and messages and favorites etc. in Firefox, and having another browser open uses too much system resources. MS says they are working on it. MS says try disabling addons in FF one at a time, but this did not work for me. I can use other mail programs like Yahoo in FF. Please suggest some solutions.

update to the latest version of FF 5.0

or as advised by MS, disable all add-ons in FF and try then. You might need to update your java/flash, but your best bet is to update the browser itself.
