Is this ever going to happen or does nVidia make enough from the SLI royalties it gets from Intel?

Intel won't let them make one. The original licensing agreement only applied to chipsets with memory controllers, not ones with the controller on the CPU.

So, X58 motherboards will continue to cost $200+? Like, if there is no competition.....

I was about to ask if ATI was going to make one (lol), then I remembered DAAMIT.
