Cant find sandisk cruzer micro 16gb on my pc

When I initially used the cruzer it worked on my pc and I think, I mistakenly retrieved it without ejecting it and since then I can't use it directly onto my pc. It will only work if I use a hub. Is there a solution to my dilemma as I find it rather inconvenient not to be able to directly insert it to my pc.

I'm guessing that sandisk cruizer is either USB 2.0 or 3.0. If you pc only has a USB 1.2 controller you might have the issue of connecting newer hardware to it.

If that's not the case, back up your data and try reformatting the flashdrive. Basically, a failed delayed write (which could have happened if you didn't eject properly) shouldn't be the reason for your flashdrive not functioning via USB connection.
