Low-End:

Change the mobo to GA-EP45-UD3L or UD3R, PSU to Corsair CX400, HDD to Caviar Black 640GB, and GPU to HD4830, Windows to Home Premium.

High-End:

Change mobo to GA-EP45-UD3P or UD3R, CPU to Q8300 or Q9400, GPU to HD4830, Windows to Home Premium.

He won't be playing any games (COD4 etc...) and no Blu-Ray playback.
Mostly it'll be used for multitasking and he won't be upgrading for at least 2-3 years. That's why I want to built him nice system that will last for some time.

I've modifed setups per theAnimal's suggestion.


High-End Modifed

I've left 9500GT because I think it'll be o.k. "in case" he decides to play some game (Please suggest anything better).

Will 4GB of memory be fully used in Vista? or do I need 64Bit. I do not want 64Bit version do to driver issue with printers etc.

After modifying original version now even High-End option is exacty within his budget and that's inc. shipping.

I've updated High-End Modifed with HD4650.
Now, if that's the case with 32 bit would do you think about doubling memory to 8GB (4 x 2GB) and getting Home Premium 64 bit version?
