I am thinking to buy a PSU online and get it imported to australia. I am buying from tigerdirect so most likely the power cord will be american. I was wondering if i could just replace the cord (you can see a little plug in the picture - http://c1.neweggimages.com/NeweggI [...] 009-02.jpg ) and use it with an australian cord. Also does it have to be specific kind of cord?

Any of the good quality PSUs available at tigerdirect should also be available in Australia; any particular reason for buying from there?

What theAnimal said. But, yes. You can simply change to an Australian cord.
