No signal when TV is on later than PC after hibernation

this answered me AMD support (ati HD4670):

"The problem is with the operating system and the way it allocates
resources. With no TV connected theresources are not reserved on
startup.

Within the Catalyst Control Center the option is in the Display options check the box to manually detect only and apply. Windows does tend to not pay much attention to this setting though so setting up the profiles for your displays and setting hotkeys to activate is suggested."

so does anyone know how to disable monitor detection?
