I simply can't decide. I am getting an i7 920 soon and I just can not decide between the rampage or the evga (not the classified one, the one for 299).

What do you guys think? I plan on doing some overclocking and heavy gaming. I currently use an ATI 4870x2 and will be using 6-12gb of ram.

Which would be the best motherboard overall do you think?

Both Asus and EVGA are the best so far in the X58 mobo's, but unless you will be running Tri-SLI imho you should look at one of these 3 below.

What you save on the mobo you can put towards a case that will have better cooling and allow the use of a Aftermarket CPU Cooler that would fit in it with the side panel on.

Would suggest this CPU Cooler, has a very good review on it.

Well I already have a large case with great cooling, and i am looking to overclock my cpu quite a bit. I also have a ATI 4870x2 that I am using and I plan on adding another 4870 to make a tri-crossfire. The price for either of them isn't a large issue for me because for me, at least, the motherboard is the one thing you shouldn't cut back on.
