I have a panasonic viera plasma 42inch 100hz full hd 1920 * 1080 when i connect my pc (nvidia 8800 gtx) to it via a dvi to hdmi connector and set the output to 1920 by 1080 the text on the desktop looks over sharpened or something . unable to read the text clearly. games seem to be ok just the desktop. iexplorer etc I have to ajust the resolution to much less than the 1920 by 1080 resolution in order to have a workable screen. I tried a new cable and its exactlty the same. also the desktop appears to be incorrectly scaled as the bottom of the desktop is missing , sides not scaled also. weird as I would assume a 1920 by 1080 output on this full hd 100hz plasma would be pixel perfect. any help would be appreciated thx :) mikebanditman@aol.com

Go into display settings on the plasma and dial back the sharpness all the way, some color adjustments should probably be made as well. I had the same issue when i first hooked up my 42PZ700U (42" 1080p plasma). Hope this helps.

no TV will ever produce pixels as clearly as a computer monitor. this is why a 30" lcd monitor costs $1000 and up, while you can get a 40 something inch TV for about that price. The lcd screens used for computer monitors display a much clearer image than any tv.
