I have windows XP home version can I transfer photos from computer to dvd

to write data to a DVD you need a DVD-Writer, which is a special CD-rom that is able to write CD/DVD. After that I believe you can just drag and drop files onto the blank dvd windows should be able to write them. If not or you want better features, you'd need to get some program like Roxio, Nero, Cyberlink, etc
