Power to tower

i was watching game trailer clips online my tower turned itself off now it wont turn on i have changed fuse but without power all my uni work is lost?

i was just sitting there watching a video on the net nothing else was open so it wasnt as if i was trying to render some masive 3d scene and then BAM! the computer turned itself off, i tried to turn it on nope not a thing, i mena i plan on gettign a new computer within the next month but i woul really like my files of the hard drive even though the computer will not turn o, is there a way to get the files out of my comp?

reset your bios.

make sure everything is connected properly.

if all else fails, you can always pull your harddrives and put them in a new system. your information will still be on them.

Any smoke or strange burning smells? Could be a dead PSU, could be a dead motherboard, could be you didn't make sure it was plugged in ^_^.
