Hi guys...
I'm going crazy with this problem... my pc runs vista 64bit on rampage formula, Q9550 E0, 6gb ddr2 ram, dual monitor 22", and the orange box, actually HALF LIFE 2, doesn't apply the Antialias no matter if i set it from the game or from the nvidia control panel... :fou: :fou:
I have latest nvidia drivers

any suggestion?

Not a big help from me but better you ask this question at the steampowered forums. Maybe they have a fix or something to help you with this problem.

Do you have the latest drivers? Have you tried connecting only 1 monitor and seeing if AA is applied?

Sometimes it may already be applied but doesn't live up to the expectation.

yes i have the latest nvidia drivers, 182.08 and i tried only with 1 monitor enabled..

now i've seen that 4xMSAA works fine (in game setting) but 6xMSAA don't work in any case (in game setting or nvidia control panel).

isn't strange that there's an in game option for the 6xMSAA if the game probably can't support 6x AA?

That's true for my 4870x2 as well - I can force 8x or 16x via Catalyst, I can use 2x or 4x just fine from the game, but the game also has an option for 6x, which is completely ineffective.

the forcing from catalyst works? when i force 16x or 8x in nvidia control panel nothing change in game...

Catalyst forcing works for 8x and 16x. I can even get up to 24x with some tweaking, though it runs too slow in a couple places to be perfectly smooth.
