Links are not seated properly. But the fact of the matter is, there are a lot better cpus than the 965EE. Even the base E5200 has more computing power than the that and can be overclocked to those speeds. The ecs website doesn't say if the mobo will support 45nm chips or not. I'd drop them an email to find out what all CPUs are supported in the bios. But I would save my money and do more than just upgrade that system and replace the platform all together. CPU/Mobo/Ram.
OK thnks for the stats im checking out the E5200& E6300 and the price is really good. Im not the type of person to overclock pc's for extreme performace
