Problem: I took out my original MSI 8600 card and replaced it with the HD 4870. The motherboard now will not recognize that i have a DVD-Rw drive, or accept a direct Ethernet line. I have a wi-fi card already installed so I am on the internet wirelessly right now. I downloaded, off the ATI website, the drivers for the new card and successfully installed them. I also took the old drivers off for the previous video card. I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the motherboard to recognize that I have (and was already installed before switching graphics cards) a DVD-Rw drive, or an Ethernet connection.

Also it seems like a lot of people are having problems with this card but none are really similar to the one i am having. I see a lot of BIOS flashing going around and do not really care to "brick" my brand new card or motherboard.
