Hi,
I have a sony HTCT100 that I wanted to run audio from my PC through. I am running a SPDIF cable from my mother board ASUS M4A78-E to the receiver. I have tested all the settings under properties but I can't get any sound. Anyone have any similar problems getting sound from the SPDIF out channel? Appreciate any help. thanks in advance!

Are you using the onboard optical out or are you using a secondary spdif card made for your system? (See page 2-27 of your manual) make sure that the cable is plugged in properly as it is not "Keyed" If you are using an optical cable be careful with them as they are very fragile and slight tug could render them usless.
