Recently I have began to receive a very high CPU of 90-110celsius.
This is distressing me as I must use the computer daily, and yet I do not wish for Myself to buy a new one. As it reachs the higher temperatures it turns itself off.

I am not a huge computer geek, so I'm not sure about certain ways to reduce temperature.
So any help possible,Thanks :)

I've attached a screenshot of an average temperature of myself browsing the internet
& listening to music.

Do you get the same temperatures with CoreTemp? What CPU and HSF?

Is your HSF properly installed?

Then try another temperature monitoring program.

The large differential shown between the cores indicates, at least, that your heatsink is partially unmounted (or one sensor is bad). Remove heatsink, clear out the dust, clean cpu and base, re-apply thermal compund, and remount. Make sure fan is working and recheck temperatures.

I checked with Coretemp and it's the same, I'll try removing the Heatsink and re applying it, I'm really not advanced at all. Where exactly is it located, and what will it look like :( Sorry once again.

The heat-sink is a "thing" with metal fins and a fan on top of them.

It is placed on your Motherboard (not the case)

I recomend you to watch some you tube videos about apllying thermal paste and if you still have pc warrenty make use of it.

If you remount the HSF yourself, you should know that new thermal compound is required and that the old stuff needs to be cleaned up properly. Note that using too much compound could lead to more problems than you're prepared to handle. As Erdinger said, watch videos and read about it. It isn't difficult if you're well prepared for it.
