I've been having conflicting issues with my on board NIC and my Linksys Ethernet Card. The card will work every other boot up (50% of the time). I can just download the chipset driver for my board, but I have the Linksys in there. I have the on board turned off in my bios. Any ideas why the two are conflicting?

Computer specs are:

Phenom II 940 BE
4GB Corsair 1066
9800GT 512mb
WinXP SP3

------------------------------ AMD PHENOM II X4 940 BLACK 3.0GHZ
4GB KINGSTON DDR2
ASUS M3N78 PRO AM2+
EVGA 9800GT 512 SUPERCLOCKED

Have you also disabled the onboard nic in windows device manager? Disable it. Do not uninstall it as windows will find it again and allocate resources for it and your problem will come back. Good Luck!
