Overclocking with bad cooling system...

My friend says that if you overclock your GPU, you can actually warm up your CPU to give you bsod/fry if you have a bad cooling system, which I have...though my GPU temperature stays fine with its own fan. Is this true?

Hi XyzLegend.

That's not true. The GPU OC does't have anything to do with the CPU OC or cooling. If u have good temps OC ur GPU or CPU or both CPU and GPU u should not be worried.
