Hello, I have HP Pavilion a1010n with 512 MB PC2700 DDR DIMMs, 533 MHz FSB. I'm planning to upgrade to 2 x 1GB. Depending on the site recommendations are either 2 X 1GB PC3200 or 2 X 1GB PC2700. Which one will definitely work on my computer? Will there be any difference in the performance?

PC3200 will be faster only if the system can run them at that speed. According to the info at HP, it supports PC2100 and PC2700 only: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc [...] 79&lang=en
