haha that case is completely absurd....

I would change the HDD to the faster, more reliable WD Caviar Black 640gb -

I would also change the power supply to a more reputable brand like corsair or PC Power and Cooling -

I would also switch the cooler to the xigmatek dark knight -

and try to upgrade the 4870 to the 1gb version with plans to Crossfire in the future if this rig is for gaming.

Hope some of this helps!

I agree with the above recommendations. Seagate is currently having major problems with the 7200.11 line of drives. The WD Black drive is much better.

Raidmax PSU's are a definite no-no.

You also don't need DDR2 1066 RAM. The Q9550 won't reach the high FSB required by DDR2 1066 RAM. Pick up a high-quality DDR2 800 kit that runs at 1.8v with tight timings. This one is about as good as it gets:

Ooh, sorry, forgot to clarify that this rig was already built, I'm evaluating it. And yeah, the RAM had been switched out, the list was out of date on that.

The PSU was my concern... I was thinking it needed changing.

Thanks for the input! I'll avoid this one :)

I guess I may just have to put in my order and finally build the one I designed.
