How to work my extranal heard drive

my heard drive show me but not expor

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

If it shows up in Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management but not in Windows Explorer, it needs to be formatted and given a drive letter before you can use it. In Disk Management, right click the drive and go to Initialise then that completes, go to to Format.
