You have nothing to worry about. Every board will show some variance in temps, due to different heatsinks, and bios programs. If there's a problem, you'll get random reboots or freeze ups.

Ty for the quick response!... yeah i took off the north bridge and south bridge last night to discover that the factory thermal grease was totally burnt up! omg for now on i will replace all of my mother board thermal grease for my own! i get a max system temp of 40c now still seems a bit high but atleast its alot lower.... thanks for your feed back bro!

I also got really big NorthBirdge temp. I will probably check this out too. I will never buy Asus products again... this with my m4a78T-E... and really crappy temp with my 2 4850 Asus TOP.

Never... ever... again...

With AMD I will buy MSI only. With Intel EVGA...

My last computer was a Core 2 Duo with a Gigabyte 965P-DS3... easily the worst motherboard ever created. The board died 3 times with stock settings in less than 16 months. So for me my experience was even worst than the one I got with Asus right now.

what bios are you running? i here that can make a difference with temps also, personally i dont see how but i'm going to flash a new bios and let you know if that helps at all.....btw i will be going intel next build only because i like the fact with many high end boards you have the option of either ati or nvidia you can run crossfire or sli i love the idea of that!!!!!
