I just Installed windows XP on the computer (specs below).. it went smoothly but.. I was installed the Asus motherboard driver package, and after it restarted after the first driver was installed (I had chosen the InstALL, which installs all drivers automatically but requires reboots after certain ones are installed), I don't get the Windows XP load screen.. instead, I get this error:
'''''

you most likely have an unstable overclock, try running at stock clocks for a while and run a stability program (at stock speeds) to make sure your setup is stable.

i ran memtest86 but got no errors. the ram is G.Skill 1066 PC8500.. i dont know what it ran at without adjusting the frequency though.. the asus bios is horrible and i cant find anything. i manually adjusted it to 1066 and 2.1v (says the packaging)

Download and run CPU-Z.

On the SPD tab, look for the settings under 667mhz.
Write those down.

Go into your BIOS and make sure the FSB is set to 333, then manually apply the memory timings and voltage you wrote down.

See if it's stable then. If so, you have a starting point.
